Systems Implementer – ref: Prim1016

Because of our continued growth we are now looking for an experienced and capable systems implementer to work on a contract in the Cambridge area.

Initially this will be for a fixed short-term contract but has the potential to become a longer term opportunity depending on our client’s requirements.

You must

Be able to work on a contract basis in the Cambridge (UK) area
Have a proven track record of successfully implementing Document Management, MRP, ERP or CRM systems (the more variety the better) in small to medium companies
Be fluent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Be accurate and thorough; this is a role for those that always get the details right
Be pleasant, flexible, and easy to work with even when under pressure – our clients, quite rightly, demand the highest standards and we need to meet all their requirements in full.

We’d like you to have

Experience of implementing SharePoint, Alfresco, CogniDox or other Document Management systems
Experience of Sage software, specifically Sage 200 and Sage CRM
Experience of working with high-tech electronics companies
VBA and ODBC experience.

Proven aptitude and hands-on experience is more important than formal qualifications, although a relevant degree or equivalent would be beneficial.

ISO 17025 Consultant – ref: Prim1014

Because of our continued growth we are now looking for an experienced and capable ISO 17025 consultant to work on a contract in the Cambridge area. The assignment involves taking a high-tech SME’s electronics test laboratory through to ISO 17025 registration in a way that is consistent with the their existing ISO 9001 system.

Initially this will be for a fixed short-term contract but has the potential to become a longer term opportunity depending on our client’s requirements.

You must

Be able to work on a contract basis in the Cambridge (UK) area
Have a proven track record of successfully implementing ISO 17025 in small to medium companies
Be fluent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Be flexible and low-bureaucracy; the client has a light-and-flexible ISO 9001 system in place so ISO 17025 will need to dovetail into the existing ISO 9001 QMS, not the other way round
Be hands-on – you will be implementing the system for the client, not merely advising them
Be pleasant and easy to work with even when under pressure – our clients, quite rightly, demand the highest standards and we need to meet all their requirements in full
Have experience of working with high-tech electronics companies – this is quite different to a pharmaceutical or chemical lab environment.

We’d like you to have

Experience of telecoms product testing or development
Experience of ongoing support for ISO 17025 or ISO 9001 e.g. internal audits and system continuous improvement
Lead Auditor qualifications.

Proven aptitude is more important than formal academic qualifications, although a relevant degree or equivalent would be beneficial and we would like to see some evidence of formal quality training.
